Thank you, by the way, for your really sensible advice. I'm definitely planning on contacting her one last time ---esp. since we live in the same small town and chances of running into each other are pretty high---but need a break from the issue for the moment so I don't write or say something I might regret. Oh well...it's things like this that help a person grow, right?
